The foundation for the Teddy Derby top hat design was fashioned out of red dupioni silk.
A large rose adorns the front of the hat, created out of red silk organza, coral organza and fuchsia dupioni silk.
The floral centerpiece is framed by a bed of leaves created out of fuchsia dupioni silk and framed with red veiling.
A layered sash, created out of fuchsia dupioni silk encircles the crown of the hat with a triple bow.
Red veiling accents the bow and cascades down the brim of the hat to form medium length tails.
A winter white brocade lines this hat and honors Rosie Napravnik’s own retired Thoroughbred racehorse, Sugar. The lining for the Teddy top hat is signed by Rosie Napravnik.
The finished Teddy top hat design measures approximately 18 inches end to end.
