Hats for the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games at The Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games came to the Kentucky Horse Park in the fall of 2010, and MAGGIE MAE DESIGNS® offered a very special collection of ladies' couture hats to help celebrate this historic event that took place from September 25th through October 10th! This was the very first time that the Games had been held outside of Europe. With over 700 horses and 600 equestrians representing 60 different countries, we wanted to offer a collection that would honor all of the athletes participating in the Games. Each hat was created to reflect the spirit of the eight Olympic-level equestrian events: Dressage, Driving, Eventing, Endurance, Reining, Show Jumping, Vaulting, and Para-Equestrian. In addition, with the Opening Ceremonies featuring such artists as Wynonna Judd, Stacy Westfall with champion reining mare, Roxy, and musicians from Jazz at Lincoln Center, now what could be a more perfect occasion for a fabulous hat?!
