The NEW! Cocktail Hat Collection at maggiemae.com makes its debut this season with a colorful selection of shapes and fabrics from which to choose. Cocktail hats were especially popular during the 1930's and 40's when they were worn in the evening for cocktail parties, and they are making a comeback as women realize just how stylish and versatile they really are! These little hats generally featured a veiling flourish of some kind, were usually brimless, and were worn tipped forward on the head and often slightly over one eye. We wanted to offer something traditional yet fashionably unique for our Cocktail Hat Collection at MAGGIE MAE DESIGNS®; making sure to add a bit of whimsy along with the elegance. Red velveteen or red dupioni silk with red satin rose curl, soft green taffeta leaves, and red veiling.
White dupioni silk cocktail with white silk organza rose curl, white satin leaves, and white fancy beading; white tulle spray.
